GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Greenbrier County man is facing charges following a domestic violence incident that took place on March 27, 2025, in the Rainelle area.
According to law enforcement, officers were dispatched to a residence after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with a woman who reported that she had been assaulted by Ronnie Hurt. The woman alleged the man had punched her multiple times and thrown her to the floor during an altercation.
Officers observed visible injuries on the woman’s face, chest, and arms, which were consistent with her account of the incident. She told authorities that the suspect had a history of violent behavior and had previously destroyed items in the home during other arguments.
During the investigation, officers spoke with the suspect, who admitted to striking the woman. The victim also provided officers with photographs from previous incidents showing property damage allegedly caused by the suspect.
The man was taken into custody without further incident.
