FORT GAY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One West Virginia man has been arrested on drug charges, and one woman has been arrested for harboring the man and punching a deputy in the face.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson, a drug suspect with felony warrants was arrested in Fort Gay.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit, Deputies, and the WV State Police arrested Dennis Ferguson, of Prichard, at a residence in the area of West Virginia Route 37.
Dennis is charged with (2) Counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver.
Fentanyl and digital scales were also recovered. More charges are pending.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Brittany Robertson was also arrested at the residence.
Brittany failed to follow orders and then resisted arrest and punched a Deputy in the face.
Brittany is charged with harboring a fugitive, battery on a police officer, and obstructing.
