BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing sexual assault charges after having sex with an underage girl and getting her pregnant.
According to police, an underage female delivered a baby at a hospital and identified the father as Leroy Keith May Jr., 20, of Ashford, WV.
During the investigation, May was interviewed and said he admitted to meeting the juvenile in October of 2021. He further stated that he believed the underage girl was 18 and that the relationship ensued. The victim advised May that she was pregnant and that her actual age was 15.
Police charged May with third-degree sexual assault. He is being held in Southwestern Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
