GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after drinking all day for several days and verbally assaulting a woman.
According to the Ronceverte Police Department, Steven Lee Garris was under the influence and behaving erratically, cussing and telling a woman he would kill her if she called the police.
The victim told police that Garris had been verbally abusing her for months. She also says that since September 30th, he has been drunk by drinking at 7 a.m. and continuing to drink all day.
The victim stated that Garris assaulted her 20 hours a day and threatened to kill her and the entire family.
Garris is charged with domestic assault. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under no bond.
