BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County man that has been missing since July 24th was found dead Monday afternoon.
Joshua E. Bias, 41, was reported missing from the Foster area of Boone County. Bias was last known to be in the Town of Chapmanville at around 4 pm on July 24th.
Boone County Sheriff Chad Barker confirmed the heartbreaking news via a Facebook post in a public search group.
“This afternoon, law enforcement and emergency services were able to locate Josh and the vehicle. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the outcome we had hoped and prayed for,” Barker stated. “We ask that you respect the privacy of the family and you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time. The outpouring of love and support from the community has been overwhelming over the last week.”
No other information has been released at this time.
