MASON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Tragic news has emerged out of Mason County as a juvenile who was reported missing over the weekend was found dead.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office initially announced on Friday that they were searching for a juvenile male named Wyatt in the Salt Creek area.
He was said to be wearing camouflage and carrying a .22 caliber rifle. Multiple agencies were assisting with the search and volunteers also helped search the area.
On Sunday morning, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office announced that the juvenile was found.
In a Facebook post on Monday afternoon, the juvenile’s mother shared the news of Wyatt’s passing.
She asks that everyone wear camouflage in remembrance of Wyatt wearing black or camo, as it was his favorite color.
