BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Mountaineer Media is excited to announce that WVU Tech is the official education partner for the 2024 Almost Heaven Classic, which is set in the heart of the New River Gorge region.
As part of this collaboration, Mountaineer Media will produce and host a three-part podcast series featuring interviews with WVU Tech faculty experts on a variety of subjects, including an episode with President T. Ramon Stuart.

Ramon Stuart, President of WVU Tech, said. “Mountaineer Media and WVU Tech believe in promoting West Virginia, quality learning opportunities and being a good community partner, especially in southern West Virginia. Several Golden Bears have benefitted from scholarships that have come from the proceeds of the Almost Heaven Scholarship Fund in the past, and we look forward to working with them to continue to promote community and education in our region.”
Founded in 1895 as the Montgomery Preparatory School, WVU Tech has a rich history of academic excellence. WVU Tech is located in Beckley, West Virginia.
