WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Law enforcement officials executed eight search warrants across Mercer, McDowell, and Cabell counties on February 13, 2025, as part of Operation Down the Road, an ongoing drug investigation.
The Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, assisted by multiple agencies, seized approximately 12 pounds of fentanyl, two fentanyl brick presses, two pounds of crystal meth, 105 grams of marijuana, 19 grams of crack cocaine, three firearms, three vehicles, and a large sum of U.S. currency.
Authorities arrested Antonio Padgett in Cabell County on nine counts of drug conspiracy.
Cordero Hayes faces nine counts of drug conspiracy and nine counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials expect additional arrests.
