WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Investigators with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office have determined that there was no evidence of criminal activity in a fire that destroyed a golf course clubhouse in Wayne County, although the investigation is still open and ongoing.
The fire occurred in the early hours on Monday morning, Dec. 4th, at the Creekside Golf Course in Lavalette. A clubhouse with the restaurant was deemed a total loss in the fire.
