OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man has been convicted on multiple felony drug charges following a two-day trial in Fayette County Circuit Court.
Anthony Ciliberti Jr. announced that on Feb. 4, 2026, a jury found 30-year-old Justin K. Legg guilty of four counts of delivery of fentanyl and one count of drug conspiracy. The trial was held before W.E. Sam Fox II.
According to prosecutors, the four delivery charges involved fentanyl that was mixed with xylazine, ketamine, and methamphetamine. The conspiracy charge involved the delivery of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Legg now faces a possible sentence of three to 15 years in prison for each of the four delivery counts, along with an additional two to 10 years for the conspiracy conviction. Sentencing is scheduled for April 13, 2026.
Following the verdict, Legg’s bond was revoked, and he will remain incarcerated until sentencing.
Evidence presented at trial showed that between September and October 2024, Legg sold fentanyl mixed with other controlled substances to a cooperating individual on four separate occasions in the Oak Hill area.
Prosecutors also presented evidence indicating that his drug trafficking activities continued into November 2024, when he was apprehended by police.
During the trial, the state introduced dozens of text messages recovered from Legg’s cellphone. Prosecutors said the messages showed that Legg knew he was selling fentanyl and was aware the drugs were mixed with other substances.
In several messages, Legg allegedly bragged about the strength of the drugs he sold.
The investigation was conducted by the Central Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force. The case was prosecuted by Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jennifer D. Crane.
