BRAXTON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – UPDATE: After initially being reported as a death, the WVSFMO says that the information released announcing the death was a miscommunication and that the man injured in the blast is still alive.
The man is currently in critical condition at a Pittsburgh hospital. The explosion has been ruled an accident.

One person is confirmed dead following an explosion at a West Virginia lumber plant.
According to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office (WVSFMO), there has been one confirmed fatality at the Braxton lumber plant in Braxton County.
The WVSFMO says that their team has just recently arrived on the scene and is investigating the incident. They say that any cause will be determined after their investigators go over everything.
