BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia Attorney General and GOP Gubernatorial candidate, Patrick Morrisey brought his “Keep the Faith” Tour to Beckley on Sunday to address voters ahead of the upcoming General Election.
The Attorney General visited the Raleigh County GOP Headquarters on Harper Road Sunday as part of his ongoing “Keep the Faith” tour, which previously saw the candidate make stops in Putnam and Kanawha County.
During his Raleigh County visit, Morrisey mingled with area residents as well as state and local officials, and enjoyed some of the finest barbeque in the area courtesy of Mt. Hope’s The Table.
Among those in attendance for the special event were Delegate Brooks of the WV House of Delegates, State Senator Rollan Roberts, State Senate Republican candidate, Brian Helton, and many more.
The event was hosted by the Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee, with Chairwoman Julie Kominksy introducing Department of Agriculture Commissioner Kent Leonard, who himself would provide the introduction for the Attorney General.
Addressing those in attendance, Morrisey implored area residents not only to ensure that their voices are heard by casting their votes in the General Election on Tuesday, but also to encourage others to do the same.
“I’m grateful to be here today. I’m entitled to nothing in my life, but I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to serve you as your Attorney General, and I would be humbled to serve as your Governor,” said Morrisey. “My name is Patrick Morrisey, I’m your state Attorney General. I’m asking all of you to get out; let’s rock and roll on Tuesday and have a big win for Team West Virginia!”
