Woodrow Wilson 8, Greenbrier East 7
Fairlea – Conner Mollohan drove in three runs with a bases loaded double to cap a five-run seventh inning for Woodrow Wilson who stunned Greenbrier East 8-7 Wednesday.
The Spartans ran out to a 7-1 lead after four innings before the Flying Eagles scored a pair of runs in the fifth.
Mollohan collected three total hits on the night including two doubles. Danny Dickenson also had a three-hit night with a double and one RBI. Chase Tolliver had two hits and drove in one run.
Ari Payne pitched two scoreless innings to get the win for Woodrow Wilson.
Darris Boswell had a triple and a double and drove in three runs to lead the Spartans, while Gavin Bennett had a hit and drove in two runs.
Nicholas County 21, Greenbrier West 12
Charmco – Nicholas County scored 11 runs in the third inning and used some loose play by the home team to defeat Greenbrier West 21-12 Wednesday.
Kendall Giles led the Grizzlies at the dish with a double, two singles and four RBI. Caleb Burns collected a pair of hits and drove in three runs. Zach Barker had two RBI and Grayson Kesterson had two hits
Cole Vandall hit a home run as part of a two-hit day and had three RBI for the Cavaliers. Dale Boone and Colton Hamrick each hit a double and drove in two runs, while Jayden Robinson and Ethan Holliday also hit a double.
PikeView 5, Liberty 0
Nathan Riffe fanned 12 Liberty batters and shutout the Raiders on five hits, leading PikeView to an 5-0 win Wednesday in Glen Daniel.
Jared Vestal drove in a pair of runs for the Panthers, while Zach Rose and Samuel Lyle each had two hits. Rose and Riffe also had an RBI in the win.
Caden Gray had a double for the Raiders.
