Beckley 83, Greenbrier East 65
Beckley broke the game open in the second quarter and rolled past longtime rival Greenbrier East 83-65 Tuesday inside the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
The Flying Eagles had five players in double figures led by senior Nazir King with 17 points. Coby Dillon knocked down five 3’s for 15 points, while Drew Fitzwater added 12 and Jaylon Walton had 11. Elijah Redfern finished with 10 points.
Nathan Dixon and Brody Hamric paced the Spartans with 14 points each and Gabe Patton had 13. Donavin Penn and Layne Lambert had nine each.
