BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County bail bondsman and private investigator, Gary Vaughan has announced his candidacy for Raleigh County Magistrate in the upcoming election.
Vaughan began his work within the West Virginia legal system following an eight-year tour in the U.S. Army, and with a number of current Raleigh County Magistrates planning to vacate their seats, he saw an opportunity to make a genuine difference.
“I truly believe that my lifetime of experience working in this system has prepared me, even compels me, to step up to this task,” said Vaughan. “Raleigh County, now more than ever, needs people who can lead it forward, even when that path is not easy.”
Vaughan says the decision is one which was made with the greater good of the community in mind, and he encourages all who vote to take voting history and personal integrity into consideration.
“When you are choosing a candidate for these open seats, I urge you to take into consideration their experience, their sense of right and wrong, and most importantly, their stance on our growing crime problem.”
