BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Commission met for their Regular Session meeting last week at which multiple purchases approvals were presented for consideration.
Among these considerations was the purchase of two vehicles for use by Raleigh County Parks and Recreation, these include a 2025 Dodge Ram crew cab pickup truck as well as a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
These vehicles would be earmarked for use at all county park locations and purchased through the state’s contract with Stevens Automotive.
A motion for approval of the purchase of these vehicles in the amount of $88,639 was made and seconded during the session, with consideration for the purchases ultimately being passed through the Raleigh County Commission.
Also approved by the commission during Tuesday’s meeting was consideration of drawdown #3 on the Piney View/Batoff Mountain Sewer Project for the North Beckley Public Service District in the amount of $9,720.
