BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Theatre West Virginia Academy is now accepting registrations for its upcoming Fall Semester.
Classes begin the week of August 19th. The semester will be 10 weeks, with a recital planned for Friday, October 25th. The cost is $125 per class, $200 for 2 classes, $250 for 3 classes
The class schedule is:
Monday (beginning August 19th)
6:15 pm – Audition Techniques (Ages 11+)
7:15 pm – Advanced Acting (Grades 7-12)
Wednesday (beginning August 21st)
6 pm – Acting for the Camera (Ages 12+)
Thursday (beginning August 22nd)
5:15 pm – Elementary Acting (Grades K-6)
6:15 pm – Musical Theatre (Students ages 8+)
7:15 pm – Youth Improv and Sketch Comedy (Grades 7-12)
“We are so excited to be teaching students at the TWV Academy again this fall!” says Academy Manager Sam Jenkins, “This semester’s class lineup gives students a wide range of performance skills to choose from. Our instructors are professional actors and artists from around the Mountain State. This is a great opportunity for young performers in Southern WV to grow in their craft and have fun doing it!”
