MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Monongalia County school buses are temporarily holding student drop-offs in a portion of the county as law enforcement responds to an incident in the community.
According to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, the precaution applies to the area stretching from the Ices Ferry Bridge to the entrance of Lakeview Road, including Mont Chateau Road.
Authorities said the incident does not involve any area schools and the decision to temporarily hold drop-offs was made out of an abundance of caution.
