LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Southern WV Community & Technical College has announced plans for the staging of a timeless holiday tale: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Presented by the Southern Coalition for the Arts, the festive stage show will be based on the beloved 1960s animated television special featuring a lovable, ragtag gang of Christmas characters including Hermey, Yukon Cornelius, the Abominable Snow Monster, and of course, Rudolph himself.
Over thirty students of Logan County Schools will be featured in the upcoming production, which has been adapted for the stage by Robert L. May, music by Johnny Marks, and development by Character Arts Creations.
Showings will be available to the public on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 7:00pm, and Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 3:00pm. The show will be held at Savas Kostas Performing Arts Center at Southern’s Logan campus, located at 100 College Drive in Logan, WV.
Tickets for the production will be $10 for members of the general public, while tickets for students will be priced at $5.
