WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities have confirmed that a third person has been arrested in connection to a shooting which occurred earlier this month at Wheeling’s North Park Apartments.
According to the Wheeling Police Department, 19-year-old Wheeling resident Kieviontai L. Saunders turned himself in to police and has been charged with one count of malicious wounding as well as one count of attempted malicious wounding.
Saunders has been arraigned by an Ohio County Magistrate late-Friday morning and was transported to the Northern Regional Jail with a cash-only bond set at $100,000.
Additionally charged with regard to the aforementioned shooting are 19-year-old Tanya N. Park of Wheeling, who was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, and 18-year-old Dashae R. Young, who was charged with malicious wounding, making Saunders the third person to be arrested in relation to the shooting.
The victim involved in the incident is in stable condition but remains hospitalized as a result of injuries sustained.
