UPDATE: Just-released information from the Oceana Fire Department indicates that the reported fire has impacted a residential structure near the roadway.
While the blaze itself has not resulted in the stoppage of traffic, authorities indicate that fire engines are expected to be moving throughout the roadway in order to retrieve water from fire hydrants to continue battling the blaze.
Due to the necessity of fire engines having access to the roadway, motorists travelling in the area could encounter delays in relation to the fire response.

MATHENY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Motorists navigating the Wyoming County area could experience delays in travel due to a recently reported fire.
According to the Oceana Fire Department, crews are currently on the scene of a structure fire which was reported near Stewart’s Curve in the Matheny area.
Flames and heavy smoke have purportedly emerged as a result of the fire, the origin of which has not been disclosed at the time of writing.
It is unclear at press time how substantial delays incurred as a result of the blaze might be, but those travelling through the area have been encouraged to seek out other routes of travel.
