MILTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – During a Governor’s Highway Safety shift today Officer Scott Ballou with the Milton Police Department attempted to stop a car for a speed violation.
The car, driven by Brandon McComas of Hurricane did not stop and got off at the mall exit, and immediately re-entered I-64 westbound.
The car then got off the Merritt’s Creek exit and stopped at the bottom of the ramp. McComas was arrested for speeding, driving while revoked for DUI, fleeing with reckless disregard, and convicted felon with a firearm and possession with intent to deliver.
$1,500.00 in cash was also seized. McComas was direct deposited at the regional jail pending arraignment.
