ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two Ansted men are facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
Around 3:30 am on May 9, 2024, deputies responded to a burglary at the Smokers Depot in Ansted. Deputies determined that two individuals threw a rock through the door, entered, and began filling a backpack with merchandise. Deputies were able to locate the individuals shortly after that.
Matthew Balik, 28, and Dakota Nottingham, 18, both of Ansted, are charged with the felony offenses of Burglary and Conspiracy.
