GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two men were arrested Tuesday following the execution of search warrants in connection with an ongoing drug investigation in Greenbrier County.
Members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s SWAT team carried out the first search warrant in the Quinwood area on April 8, acting on behalf of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
The warrant followed a joint investigation involving the Task Force, the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, and the West Virginia State Police.
Justin Rich, 34, of Quinwood, was taken into custody without incident. He was wanted on outstanding warrants for the delivery of a controlled substance.
Information gathered during the search led investigators to obtain a second warrant for a residence in the Orient Hill area.
The SWAT team executed the second warrant later that day, taking Ellis Wilson, 49, of Orient Hill, into custody.
He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
Both men were arraigned by a Greenbrier County magistrate and transported to the Southern Regional Jail.
