MARSHALL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two men were arrested after deputies said they forced their way into a home on Allen Hill Road and assaulted two people during a disturbance Saturday.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the residence on September 27, 2025, after receiving a call from H. Allen.

She told deputies that she and J. Woods were inside the home when Thomas Allen and James Chambers arrived, demanding the return of a chainsaw.
Deputies said Thomas Allen allegedly entered the residence with a bat, threatening Allen and Woods.
When Woods attempted to leave a shed, he was struck on the shoulder by Allen. As Woods tried to flee, Chambers allegedly hit him.
Investigators said Allen then punched H. Allen in the stomach when she tried to intervene before chasing Woods into the woods and threatening to kill him.
Warrants were issued for both Thomas Allen and James Chambers on charges of burglary, battery, and conspiracy. Authorities said the two men were taken into custody shortly after the incident.
