JEFFERSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Police in Kanawha County are attempting to identify one man after he broke into a video lottery location and stole over $4,000.
According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, July 30, 2023, Kanawha County Sheriff’s Deputy Z.T. Bowles responded to a reported breaking and entering at Nikki’s Hotspot, located at 6210 MacCorkle Avenue SW in Jefferson.
Deputies arrived to discover the suspect had broken out a window in the rear of the building to gain access inside. Once inside, he broke into a security safe where he stole approximately $4,397 in US Currency.
The incident was captured on surveillance video and shows a white male suspect wearing a black tee shirt, black hat, and face mask acting alone during the commission of the crime.
Investigators with Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Section located additional footage that shows the suspect without the mask; however, his identity is unknown at this time.
The KCSO is asking that if anyone can identify this male, knows his location, or has any information that could be useful in this case to please come forward.
