OHIO (LOOTPRESS) – A man wanted on federal drug charges in West Virginia since August has been captured in Cleveland, OH, authorities announced.
The U.S. Marshals reported that 29-year-old Terrell Sparks was found Friday morning hiding in the wall of the attic at a home in the 8300 block of Medina Avenue “after an extensive search.”

Sparks was arrested without further incident and is being held locally until he can be extradited to West Virginia.
Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force had been searching for Sparks for weeks “when investigators in West Virginia believed he left their area and possibly traveled to Cleveland.”
Authorities say Sparks fled from law enforcement on two separate occasions.
While Sparks was wanted locally by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department for probation violation with underlying charges of aggravated burglary and assault, he was also wanted on federal charges out of the Northern District of West Virginia.
Those charges include conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute cocaine base, heroin, and fentanyl, as well as distribution of cocaine base within 1,000 feet of a protected location.
“This fugitive thought he could run forever, but the task force doesn’t give up,” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott. “Whether it’s here in the city of Cleveland, across northern Ohio or across the country, the U.S. Marshals Service will bring fugitives to justice.”
