MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Pittsburgh man has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping case following an extensive investigation by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to a reported kidnapping on January 23, 2025, involving a female victim who had been brought to the area from Pittsburgh.
Detectives quickly launched an investigation and identified Rashaad S. Hairston, 28, of Pittsburgh, as the primary suspect.
As evidence mounted, an arrest warrant was issued for Hairston on charges related to the kidnapping.
Due to the seriousness of the crime and the risk of flight, the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department sought assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force.
