MARSHALL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 19-year-old Paul Adam Woods III on Friday, September 19, 2025, in connection with a sexual assault case involving a 14-year-old.
Woods faces one count each of second-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, strangulation, and abduction of a person with the intent to defile, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

He is currently being held at the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
Sheriff Mike Dougherty and his team continue to investigate the case.
