BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Snow lovers got their wish as snow blanketed the majority of the Mountain State on Monday.
A bulk of the state is under a Winter Storm Warning until Tuesday where some areas could see up to 6-8 inches of snow once the storm is over.
Road conditions have been poor through most of the day and are expected to worsen overnight as lows will be in the 20s and teens.
According to West Virginia 511, multiple accidents have occurred throughout West Virginia today due to the weather conditions.
As the bitter cold and snow are expected to last into Tuesday, many counties have either delayed or canceled school for tomorrow.
