RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County woman is facing charges after deputies say she threatened to kill law enforcement officers and their families while being arrested at an apartment complex in Bradley.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Crossroads Apartments on May 26, 2026, to assist with a threats complaint involving Earon Lynette McConnell.
Authorities said McConnell had previously been trespassed from the property on March 29, 2026, and had been formally served trespass paperwork at that time.
When deputies arrived, they reportedly found McConnell still on the property and refusing to leave.
While Deputy H. Shrewsbury attempted to explain that she needed to leave due to the trespass order, investigators say McConnell threatened to kill the deputy.
Another deputy attempted to speak with McConnell while she was seated inside a locked vehicle on the property. Deputies said they warned her she could face additional charges if she refused to leave.
According to the complaint, McConnell then allegedly told the deputy, “You are going to die tonight.”
Deputies informed McConnell she was under arrest, but she reportedly refused to unlock the vehicle or exit. After repeated commands, deputies broke out the passenger-side window in order to remove her from the vehicle.
Authorities say McConnell then complied and exited the vehicle before being placed in handcuffs.
While being transported to headquarters, deputies allege McConnell continued making threats, claiming she was a member of the “Crips” and threatening to kill the deputy, his wife, children, and grandparents.
Investigators said the threats were captured on in-car camera footage.
