INDIAN MILLS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Barger Springs woman faces several charges, including the felony charge of child neglect creating risk of injury, following a Thursday vehicle accident also involving a child.Â
Reports from the Summers County Sheriff’s Department confirm that, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, Chief Deputy T.S. Adkins and Deputy J.S. Ward responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Indian Mills area.Â
Here, the driver of the vehicle, Elizabeth Ann Bridges, was identified. It was later determined that Bridges was intoxicated at the time of the accident, resulting in her arrest.Â
Bridges now faces charges of DUI with a Minor Child, Child Neglect Creating the Risk of Injury, Expired Registration, and Failure to Maintain Control.Â
She was transported to the Southern Regional Jail to await arraignment in Summers County Magistrate Court.
No other drivers or vehicles are reported to have been involved per the Summers County Sheriff’s Department release regarding the incident.Â
