UPDATE: LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two adults are charged after setting a high school baseball dugout on fire.
A successful investigation led to warrants being obtained for 57-year-old Lisa McClure and 32-year-old Curtis Mooney of Griffithsville, WV. Lisa McClure and Curtis Mooney were arrested on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, and charged with Arson, Conspiracy, and Felony Destruction of Property.
They were processed and housed at the South Central Regional Jail, where they are awaiting a preliminary hearing.

LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS)—A fire set overnight burned down a high school baseball dugout, and the cause is under investigation.
The WV State Fire Marshal’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the owners and operators of the vehicle pictured below.
The Hamlin VFD Facebook page reports that the Lincoln County High School baseball team’s dugout and storage facility for lawn care equipment were set on fire at night. Sadly, no one could see and call 911 before it became a total loss.
The WV State Police are assisting in the investigation. Tip can be called into the WV Arson Hotline 24 hours a day at 1800-233-3473.
Rewards of up to $5,000 are possible for information received through the WV Arson Hotline.
