UPDATE: LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three Logan County individuals are facing charges in relation to a string of vandalism incidents which occurred earlier in the month.
According to reports from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, October 7, 2022, Logan County Deputies responded to the Henlawson Church at which vandals had caused an estimated $3440 in damage through the spray painting of vulgarities on the building.
It soon came to light that several locations had been vandalized in a similar manner throughout Logan County.
These locations included a bowling center, a second church, and a number of Little League baseball fields.
A vehicle of interest was identified through surveillance footage obtained by Deputy J.L. Isaacs.
This, along with an anonymous tip, led Deputy Isaacs to the residence of a potential suspect, at which the vehicle of interest could be seen to have been parked, and appeared to have red paint on the door handle.
This suspect issued a confession, after which two other individuals suspected to be involved were located, and confessions obtained.
The suspects were identified as Stephanie R. Nida, 21 of Logan; Katelyn Woods, 19 of Henlawson; and Griffen Williams, 22 of Henlawson.
