Wanda Regina Noe Pallares of Beckley, WV died peacefully Friday, May 7,
2021 after a short illness.
Born in Woodbay, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank Noe and
Belvon Johnson Noe. Mrs. Pallares was preceded in death by her beloved husband,
Toney C. Pallares; sisters Wilma V. Mullett of PA., and Tommie Saunders of SC; a
nephew Walter Vipperman of Canada.
Survivors include brother-in-law Calvin Saunders; special nieces
Pamela Saunders Elmore of Little River SC, and Barbara Christman of Berwyn, PA;
a nephew Rodney Saunders and wife Sharon of Florissant, CO; numerous grand
nieces and grand nephews. Beloved friends, Greg Childers, Bill Meadows, Pat Waddell, Patty Hartenstein, and Pat Calhoun; Sorority Sisters of ETA Master Chapter, Betta
Sigma Phi, Col. Heather Warden.
Regina was a graduate of Sophia High School, Beckley College and
Concord College, and also attended University of Tennessee and West Virginia
University. She retired after having taught 30 years in the Raleigh County
School System, teaching Spanish for 27 years, and was named Teacher of the Year
in 1989.
Regina was a member of the Beckley Woman’s Club, Ateneo Spanish
Club, Beta Sigma Phi for 72 years, Raleigh County Association of School
Employees, and Senior Friends.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Oak Hill Place for the love and care given to Regina.
Memorials can be made in Regina’s name to the Salvation Army and flowers are also welcome.
A private funeral service will be held at the Rose and
Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, with a private burial to follow at Blue
Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity, WV.
