NORTH CAROLINA (LOOTPRESS) – A highly unusual accident occurred Wednesday morning in Swain County when an animal fell through a car’s windshield.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 8:17 a.m. on Nov. 19 on US-74.
A bald eagle reportedly flew near the vehicle, dropping a cat through the windshield.
The driver was not injured in the incident, but the cat did not survive, authorities said.
