(Salt Rock, WV) After a tough loss Thursday night, Bloomingdale Baptist bounced back with a big win over Parkersburg Christian. The Bloom ran away with this one early and never looked back, finishing with a final score of 81-39.
The Bloom dominated both ends of the floor— smothering the Knights defensively with 16 steals and putting up their second-highest point total of 81 points. They also spaced the floor well by knocking down 6 threes. The Knights tried running a full-court press to slow their momentum, but The Bloom maintained their composure and picked the defense apart.
The Bloom had 4 players score in double figures. Marc Brown (Jr., G) led all scorers with 20 points along with 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Caleb McClung (Jr., G) was a close second with 19 points and 2 steals. Sutton Roten (Sr., F) also contributed on both ends of the floor with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Solomon Backus (Sr., F) had 11 points and 3 blocks.
Wyatt Meadows led the Knights in scoring with 20 points. Joe Johnson also contributed 8 points.
