MARLINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A water line break in Pocahontas County on Monday has led to the issuance of a boil water advisory for a number of areas.
Pocahontas County Emergency Management reports that, effective Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Brush Country Road, Back Airport Road, Brownsburg, and Angus Irvine have been placed under a Boil Water Notice.
This notice has reportedly been issued due to a break in a water line at Cain Trailer Court.
Water samples are being sent out by the city to determine a restoration date and time. Samples are anticipated to be returned by Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at which time service will be restored should the samples in question be within acceptable limits.
