CHARLES TOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A cooling center is now open in Charles Town.
Due to the extremely hot weather, Jefferson County Community Ministries (JCCM) and the City of Charles Town have established a cooling station inside JCCM.
A staff person will be on-site to welcome guests.
The hours of operation will be from 10 AM until around 3 PM.
Free cold water will also be available in front of the store for anyone who wants to hydrate.
The station will be open over the weekend, Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23, and will open around 11 AM.
Jefferson County Community Ministries is located at 238 W. Washington Street, Charles Town.
