Gary Lynn Canady Jr., 52, of Mabscott WV, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 23, 2022, while at the Bowers Hospice House.
Born on March 20, 1970, in Beckley WV, he was the son of the late Gary Canady Sr. and Twilla Dalton Canady. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy and Edna Dalton, and Glen and Lillian Canady.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Timmy Canady (Melissa) and sister Amanda Thompson (Joshua), which he resided with. Also, his nieces and nephews, Morgan Lester, Lillian Thompson, Sophee Lester, Addison Thompson, Tyler Lester, Noah Scott, and Parker Thompson. Surviving aunts and uncles, Ginger Lester, Kimberly Young (Alan), and Larry Dalton. He and his aunt Kimberly and had a very special bond, she has been many roles throughout his life. She was his person, and he was hers. Kimberly and Gary had an unconditional love for one another.
Little Gary was very close to his entire family, and he never met a stranger. Anyone that Little Gary met, he touched their life. He loved Spiderman, Dukes of Hazard, and his car Kit. Little Gary was full of life and always smiling. Gary was a Christian and loved to worship Jesus throughout his life. His favorite song to sing for worship was Jesus Loves Me.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 3PM, at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with Pastor Roger Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pemberton Cemetery at Pemberton, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 2 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Dalton, Addison Thompson, Alvin Cozart, Steve Dalton, Tyler Lester, Kenny Canady, Jimbob Dalton, and Dave Billings.
