HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The annual four-day Hinton Railroad Days festival has returned to Summers County and many are expected to attend. The festival will feature four days filled with live music, food, vendors, and the Autumn Colors Express which will make a trip from Huntington to Hinton each day of the festival.
There will be a wide variety of vendors that will be set up in the Hinton National Historic District such as Brooks Custom Gifts which will be selling handmade crafts and the C&O Historical Society which will be selling C&O Railroad-related merchandise. In total, there will be around 50 vendors set up during the festival.
This festival is a perfect time to learn about the history of Hinton and the C&O railroad that was a major part of the growth of the city.
Those riding on the Autumn Colors Express will have the opportunity to stay and enjoy the festival for a few hours as the train arrives in Hinton at 12:01 PM and departs at 3 PM each day.
The festival starts this Thursday, October 20th through this Sunday, October 23rd.
