Kenneth Wayne Wykle, 70, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV following a long battle with cancer.
Kenneth was born at Marfrance in Greenbrier County, WV on August 26th 1953 to the late William (Bill) and Ruth Wykle. Kenneth grew up on Loops road in Fayette County and attended Meadow Bridge High School. He worked for Anderson paving in Rainelle for 11 years and was owner operator of G&K Auto for almost 35 years where he contracted for several local sawmills and logging ventures, rarely if ever taking a day off and was known as “Bumperjack” on the CB radio. Kenneth was a trustee and member of the Faith Baptist church in Rupert, WV for several years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth and Father, Bill and his baby Brother, William Howard.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Gladys Wykle of Neola; daughter, Amy Ennis and husband Ronnie of Rainelle; sons, James Honaker of Neola and Cecil Honaker wife Beth of Rainelle; brothers, Curtis and wife Brenda, Doug and wife Linda, Keith, Ernie, Clayton; sister, Ruth Harmon and husband Billy; 2 grandsons, Wade and Wilson Ennis; granddaughters, Katheryn, Anna and Kaylie and a great grandson Jaxson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home.
