LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after filming the sexually explicit conduct of a minor.
According to the West Virginia State Police, deputies encountered a seventeen-year-old juvenile driving during a traffic stop on Big Creek Road. The passenger, David Lee Adkins, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. During the processing, when troopers tried to turn the suspect’s phone off to save battery, they observed an image of Adkins between the legs of the seventeen-year-old.
Troopers obtained a search warrant for Adkins’s phone, and they discovered more images of sexual content between Adkins and the juvenile.
Two videos were also observed to show sexual acts and Adkins smoking methamphetamine and blowing the smoke in the victim’s mouth.
Adkins is in Southwestern Regional Jail under a 20,000-dollar cash-only bond.
