POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ohio man was recently sentenced for a conviction stemming from his involvement the 2021 armed robbery of a Point Pleasant hotdog stand.
According to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of Mason County, on Monday, October 30, 2023, Raijuan Lee Shelton – 23 years old of Dayton, Ohio – was sentenced for “Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.”
As a result of this conviction, Shelton was sentenced to “not less than one nor more than five years” in prison. Shelton must also pay restitution to the victim involved in the incident in the amount of $5,381.79.
Shelton was reportedly one of four co-defendants involved in the case and charged in relation to the robbery of “Sam’s Hotdog Stand” in Point Pleasant. This incident occurred in October 2021.
Prosecutor Gaskins with the Prosecuting Attorney of Mason County’s Office extended gratitude to Sgt. J.N. Lee of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, “for his solid investigation and for helping to bring this Defendant to justice.”
