TAZEWELL, VA (LOOTPRESS) – Two individuals are facing charges following a Thursday night traffic stop during which various paraphernalia items were discovered inside the vehicle involved.
According to the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, on the night of Thursday, January 18, 2024, Deputy French and K9 Rita of the department conducted a traffic stop and would receive assistance from Deputy Moore.
Over the course of the stop, over an ounce of Methamphetamine was discovered inside the vehicle, along with suspected Fentanyl, numerous pills, Suboxone, and multiple syringes.
Along with these substances and substances discovered on the person of a female passenger, a magnetic box was discovered attached to the underside of the car. The driver of the vehicle was already wanted by authorities at the time of the encounter.
All individuals within the vehicle were detained and taken in to custody and the drugs found were seized by authorities.
