Huntington – Adam Jones scored 17 points as Mercer Christian secured a 40-34 win over Teays Valley and with it a spot in the WVCAT title game.
Eli Patton added nine points while Elias Sharp and Dylan Jones scored six each.
Jay Capers scored 14 for Teays Valley.
The Cavaliers will play Greater Beckley Saturday at 5 p.m. The two teams met once this season, a 40-39 Greater Beckley win.

Huntington – Greater Beckley placed three in doubles figures Friday, downing Grace Christian 64-29 and earning a spot in the WVCAT title game.
Gabe Short led the scoring effort with 16 points while Degan Williams secured a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Eli Sexton added 13 points in the win.
The Crusaders will play Mercer Christian Saturday at 5 p.m. The two teams met once this season, a 40-39 Greater Beckley win.
