MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mount Hope man is facing sexual abuse charges.
According to State Police, on five separate occasions, between June 1, 2020, and July 15, 2020, Robert Lee Cooper, sexually abused a child under 12-years-old. The incidents occurred in Mount Hope. The victim resided with Cooper during the time frame, and he was in sole care and custody of the victim.
Cooper is charged with five counts of first-degree sexual abuse and five counts of sexual abuse by a custodian.
He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 150,000 dollar bond.
