OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – It was an exciting day for the students and staff of Oak Hill High School on Tuesday as new renovations to the school’s facilities were celebrated.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Oak Hill High School on Tuesday evening, and members of the public were invited to come out and show their support for the Red Devils in acknowledgment of the recent upgrades.
“We are both proud and excited to officially open and rededicate the newly remodeled Jim Lilly Center and Fred Ferri Jr. Court,” said Oak Hill High School in a statement.
Among those in attendance for the ribbon-cutting and dedication was West Virginia House of Delegates members Eric Brooks and Elliot Pritt, each of whom commended the school on the impressive redesigns.
“Pleased to attend the ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Oak Hill High School gymnasium,” said Delegate Brooks. “The gym looks absolutely incredible. It is definitely something the entire Red Devil community can be proud of.”
“I was honored to be invited by the Administration at my Alma Mater, Oak Hill High School to witness the ribbon cutting for the new Lilly Center and Fred Ferri basketball court,” said Delegate Pritt.
“The new gym is beautiful! Our kids deserve this! Our kids deserve the best we can give them. I am proud to represent the city of Oak Hill in the West Virginia Legislature.”
Oak Hill High School will also be hosting its Winter Concert event later this week. Doors for the show will open at 5:00pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Oak Hill High School Auditorium, and the show itself will get underway at 6:00pm.
