FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Falls View man is facing felony charges in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Mike FRIDLEY, in the evening hours of October 21, deputies responded to an altercation in Gauley Bridge between two males where one male had shot at another. Deputies arrived in the area and determined the victim to be uninjured. The victim identified the suspect and deputies were able to locate him shortly thereafter. During the investigation, deputies recovered a firearm from inside the suspect’s vehicle. A criminal background check revealed the suspect to be prohibited from possessing firearms.
Joseph E Given, 56, of Falls View was charged with the felony offenses of Wanted Endangerment and Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. Given was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
