RANDOLPH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Randolph County Schools will dismiss three hours early on the day of the solar eclipse.
According to Randolph County Schools, in an abundance of caution, Randolph County Schools will dismiss students 3 hours early on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Randolph County Schools says that the solar eclipse will occur at the end of the school day when students would be dismissed.
This early dismissal will ensure that students are home and in the safety of their families before the event.
West Virginia is not in the path of totality but will see a partial eclipse with the maximum view occurring on Mon, Apr 8, 2024, at 3:15 pm.
